I have nearly
30 years experience in the design, construction and
development of restaurants and other commercial
construction. My
experience has been from all (3) sides of the industry,
(Owner – Architect - Contractor). I have worked
with many different companies and worn many different
hats as I have been responsible for the construction of
more than 450 restaurants, 30 drug stores and numerous
other commercial facilities. I have always
learned something new from every experience. Last year I
realized that I now had the additional development
experience that I needed and wanted to start Genuine
Property Solutions, LLC.
As the name suggests, I truly want to make a
genuine effort to find the best solution for our clients
to the problems that occur in developing property. When
starting GPS I asked the Lord for his assistance. I have been very
blessed with the many opportunities that have developed
as a result of the leadership the Lord has given me. My experience is
quite broad, therefore, the services that we can perform
for our clients is also quite broad. We have
performed the site selection, preliminary design,
due-diligence, preliminary cost estimates, property
rezoning, ordered surveys and construction drawings and
prepared the formal loan request package for project
financing of one of the projects that we are building.
Jerry King
– Superintendent
No, it is not
Kenny Rogers or a member of the Oak Ridge Boys. It is our
superintendent Jerry King. I have known
Jerry for 17 years.
Jerry is a man of great character and good
organizational skills.
He started his career in construction as a
licensed electrician, where he was both a journeyman and
a foreman on residential, commercial and industrial jobs
and then Jerry went on to start installing kitchen
equipment. He
and a partner started and operated TDJ Services, Inc.
for 15 years installing restaurant equipment and
fixtures. Jerry
is certified to install and repair Corian and other
solid surface materials.
I hired Jerry two years ago to be a
superintendent on some restaurants that I was building. Jerry’s
loyalty is unmatched.
He has a good eye for quality and does an
excellent job for us. I
look forward to having Jerry lead the construction of
many more projects in the future.
